Concrete Pier/Grade Beam Slope Repair - Private

How we saved an in-ground pool from a landslide.

Concrete Pier/Grade Beam Slope Repair - Private

About the project

JP Operations was contacted by a private landowner in early 2020 to investigate their yard creeping over a large slope in the back of their property. Upon further investigation, the concern became the in-ground swimming pool taking damage from a land slide. An engineering firm was brought to the site, and test drilling was completed for a geotechnical report and recommendations. After the project scope of work was compiled, construction began summer of 2023 which included the installation of 16 drilled piers 25 feet in depth with rebar cages installed and poured solid with concrete, a 2’x2’ concrete grade beam installed at grade of all poured piers, and final grading and reclamation.
